Members of the American Society of Dowsers make up the largest organized body of dowsers in the world, with over 3,000 active members across the United States and worldwide. Our members range from the most experienced to the most eager newcomers and everyone in between.
ASD is also home to many of the United States' most skilled dowsers, ranging from water dowsers to seekers of minerals and lost objects, energetic dowsers, esoteric dowsers, and a great deal more.

Anyone interested in dowsing may register to join the American Society of Dowsers. You do not need to be able to dowse to be a member - beginners are always welcome! Dowsers are friendly people who are delighted to share their knowledge.
Registering with the American Society of Dowsers is easy and only take a few minutes. Once you have registered with our secure online membership form, you will receive a login and password via email for immediate access to the member's area and ASD's media archives.

Purposes of the ASD:
The American Society of Dowsers was formed in 1961. It is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. The society was created to:
- Facilitate networking among dowsers and organizational affiliates.
- Provide basic and continuing educational opportunities for members and encourage high ethical standards.
- Promote public awareness of and appreciation for the art of dowsing.
- Enable the development of new organizational affiliates.
- Cooperate with individuals and organizations doing research on dowsing phenomena and publishing their findings.
